Much better than average post-war architecture.
I’m always still amazed at how the US tends to use its own kind of windows (usually double panes that slide vertically) , while most of the rest of the industrial world uses a single panel that swivels or tilts.
If you’ve never noticed it before, now you’ll see it everywhere. One of the most telling differences in our architectural details.

The w indows are one of the most obvious signs when a low budget film or TV production cheaps out and decides to use somewhere in the US to portray somewhere in the UK, or, frankly, vice versa with British productions.
The British seem to really love these combination windows, with a fixed pane, outward swinging, and awning window all in the same frame. Don’t believe I’ve ever seen one in the US, not sure if you can even buy them here.
